Audi India will launch the 2011 A8L in the month of January. Read our first drive review of the 2011. The A8 will initially be launched with the 4.2-litre V8 petrol engine which produces 372bhp and will have an eight-speed transmission.
Audi’s MMI (multi-media interface) utilises black panel technology to search for contacts on the phonebook. Back-seat passengers can easily operate the music system with the MMI controls at the rear. The new A8 is larger than its predecessor, but Audi has succeeded in reducing the weight as well.
